In Amsterdam final of Uefa Europa league 2012-13 played in Amsterdam Arena between Chelsea and Benfica.As the match started Benfica putted chelsea in tremendous pressure by there great attack and was looking an easy match for Benfica.Till the end of 1st half both team were not able to find the net but Benfica was in good touch as they attempted to shoot more than chelsea.
As the second half got underway the leading goal scorer for chelsea,Frank Lampard got powerful shot but was saved by goal keeper and though was a great save.But the wrong throw from Benfica goal keeper gave the chance to Fernando torres to take
away the goal and so happened Fernando Torres gave a great finish in the 59th minute and got Chelsea 1-0 up in the final.
Match was in the hands of chelsea but but the foul from Chelsea gave the penalty to Benfica a schance to equalise it.Cardozo took the penalty and madit all square with 1-1.Now the match was in tense situation 90 minutes play time was over and stoppage time was on for 3 minutes.2 minutes were gone as match was going towardsthe extra time but suddenly Ramires won the corner for chelsea and this corner became a nightmare for benfica as
Branislav Ivanovic got the header in and found the net.
After winning Champions league in 2012 now they have won europa league 2012-13.
